Electrical Power

Every project or situation has unique challenges and we’ve built a process that allows us to find the solution of those problems in collaboration with our clients.

Quality electrical power design requires understanding our client’s current power capabilities and the needs each prospective design presents. We partner with our clients, planning a power design that fits their unique situation. In addition to working closely with our clients, our process includes building a close relationship with installation contractors, ensuring our solutions are constructable and cost-effective.

We specialize in power design and distribution from the secondary side of the transformer (typically 460-480VAC) to a switchgear, then further to Motor Control Center (MCCs) and/or Power Distribution Panels (PDPs). We also provide design services to the individual equipment and components loads, additional lower voltage transformers, power supplies, and lighting panels.

Civil

From inside the building walls to its exterior, our civil engineering team can provide design services to bring your site to full development. Infrastructure is an important part of every project, and that is why we offer civil design for a variety of sites.

We start with a complete survey and can develop plans and profiles for roadways, sanitary sewers, and stormwater conveyance using Civil 3D software. Grading plans, parking lots, and site planning are created with the latest software to allow options to be presented and modified in a time saving, cost saving fashion.

In addition, we strive to provide the design of stormwater control measures relevant to each individual site. We work closely with governing agencies to make sure we meet all permitting requirements set forth for each area of jurisdiction.

Structural

Because a lot of our clients are industrial, we provide a wide variety of structural evaluation, analysis, and design. From designing full scope manufacturing facilities and additions, platforms, equipment foundations, and other equipment support structures, our structural engineering team can tackle it.

We work with a lot of clients in the pharmaceutical, dairy, and food industries. For these clients many of our structural designs are fabricated from stainless steel and are fully drainable to account for the cleaning requirements which in many cases require heavy washdown, and fully drainable designs.

We utilize a combination of real-world experience, 3D point cloud scanning, modeling, and our structural expertise to develop cost effective and functional designs to meet our client’s specific needs.

CAD

With over 100 years of combined experience providing CAD-related services, our team understands the importance of evolving our process alongside growing technologies. We’ve grown our full range of CAD services to include 3D point cloud scanning and modeling, using the most advanced technologies to design comprehensive and workable solutions for our clients’ facilities.

In addition to emerging technologies, we have extensive experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical, Inventor, Civil 3-D, and Factory Design Suite.

More recently we have expanded our capabilities to include Autodesk ReCAP Pro and Leica Cyclone to enable us to use 3D point cloud scans in conjunction with Inventor to generate highly accurate and reliable 3D models for equipment and piping layouts. This allows us to enhance our understanding of designs for clients, equipment vendors, and installing contractors, more accurately ensuring the best possible solution.
